Inter Miami CF Academy product Tyler Hall recently featured in the 2023 MLS NEXT All-Star Game presented by Allstate on July 19. The Inter Miami CF II defender was a member of the East team at the second iteration of the event that took place at the Naval Academy’s Glenn Warner Soccer Facility in Annapolis, Maryland, in which the West team eventually won 5-4 in penalties following a thrilling 2-2 draw in regulation.
HaII, 17, was one of the top 44 best youth soccer players in North America to play in this year’s MLS NEXT All-Star Game and have the once-in-a-lifetime player experience during MLS All-Star Week. All 29 MLS academies had at least one player selected to the roster, and nine clubs had multiple selections, while five non-MLS academies were also represented in Annapolis as players showcased their talent on the national stage in the East vs. West showdown.
Special Olympics at 2023 MLS All-Star Week
Inter Miami representatives also featured at the 2023 Special Olympics Unified Sports All-Star Game, organized by MLS WORKS, the league’s corporate social responsibility program, with Special Olympics Athlete Alan Garcia, Special Olympics Unified Partner Daniel Alonso and Special Olympics Coach Frank Marion II representing the Club at the event. Alonso was the lone goal scorer for the East All-Stars in the matchup that resulted in a 6-1 victory for the West.
The All-Star game was played at Glenn Warner Soccer Facility at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland on July 19. There were also two training sessions that took place across the Washington, D.C. area prior to the match. The first training session was carried out at the Lincoln Memorial along the National Mall, while the second training session was held at American University.
